1. Data Collection and Processing

QuickICO (hereinafter "the App") is a native Windows icon compiler that converts a single source image into .ico, .icns, and favicon formats.

• File Access: The App reads source images (PNG, JPG, BMP, WebP) that you import or drop into the app. All image processing happens locally and no file data is transmitted externally.
• Local Storage: The App saves user preferences (theme, language, window position, compiler settings) in local application data. The App will never upload or transmit this data to any remote server or third party.
• Usage Statistics: The App tracks a local usage counter solely for prompting optional Store reviews. No analytics or telemetry data is transmitted externally.

2. Internet Access

The core functionality of the App does not require internet access. Internet access is only used in the following scenarios:

• When you click external links on the About page (such as visiting the website, getting more apps, or reporting an issue), the default browser is opened.
• When you make an optional in-app supporter purchase through the Microsoft Store.

3. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party data analytics, advertising, or user tracking SDKs. In-app purchases are processed entirely by the Microsoft Store, whose privacy practices are governed by Microsoft's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Security

All file processing and settings data is handled locally on your device. The App does not transmit any data over the network.
