스토어 함정 #5: 스크린샷이 macOS와 너무 닮았다

또 하나의 스토어 함정입니다. 이건 전혀 예상하지 못했습니다.
무슨 일이 있었나
한 앱의 업데이트를 Microsoft Store에 제출했습니다. 인증 보고서가 돌아왔고, 두 가지 위반이 포함되어 있었습니다:
10.1.1.11 On Device Tiles
The available product tile icons include an icon that does not relate to the product. Icons must uniquely represent product so users associate icons with the appropriate product and do not confuse one product for another.
10.1.1.3 Inaccurate Representation
The images submitted in the Metadata show non-Windows UI or devices. Images should not show non-Windows UI or devices unless highlighting cross-platform compatibility. They should not be images from other platforms.

정책 규정
인증 보고서는 Microsoft Store 정책 10.1.1 하의 두 가지 코드를 인용했습니다: 10.1.1.11(On Device Tiles)과 10.1.1.3(Inaccurate Representation). 하지만 공개된 Store Policies 페이지에서는 이 두 하위 섹션을 찾을 수 없었습니다.
하지만 App Quality Guidelines의 "Metadata is key" 섹션에서 더 구체적인 가이드를 제공합니다:
아이콘에 관하여:
Clarity, simplicity and uniqueness are the hallmarks of good icons. [...] Use your icon to stand out from the crowd and don't copy existing app icons.
스크린샷에 관하여:
Show off your clean interface and the unique features of your app. [...] Is your app available on multiple platforms? Great! But make sure your screenshots show customers the experience they'll get on their Windows devices.
마지막 문장이 바로 이 함정의 핵심입니다: 앱이 여러 플랫폼을 지원하더라도, 스크린샷은 사용자가 Windows 기기에서 보게 될 경험을 보여주어야 합니다.
참고로 범위는 다음과 같습니다: "Metadata"에는 아이콘, 제목, 스크린샷, 설명이 포함됩니다 — 즉 Store 페이지의 모든 것입니다.
분석
두 가지 위반의 근본 원인은 같았습니다: macOS 스타일 장식 요소가 포함된 목업 템플릿을 사용한 것입니다.
아이콘도 걸렸다 (10.1.1.11)
타일 아이콘에도 macOS 스타일의 신호등 버튼이 나타났습니다. Windows에서는 앱 아이콘에 이런 장식이 있을 수 없습니다 — 그래서 인증 팀은 이 아이콘이 "제품과 관련이 없다"고 판단했습니다.
스크린샷은 더욱 명백했다 (10.1.1.3)
스크린샷에는 신호등 버튼뿐만 아니라 macOS Dock 요소도 있었습니다. 실제 Windows 기기에서는 이런 장식이 절대 나타나지 않습니다 — Microsoft 인증 팀이 Surface Laptop에서 테스트할 때 한눈에 알아챘습니다.
